I got a huge response with the 1971 Mixology cover for some reason, and I am frankly just pandering with this one, the F volume of the Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery from 1966.

"It was the age of vivid food," I heard one middle-aged lady say to another at a rummage sale as they were pawing through a box of cook books from this era. Also crazy food. Like Frankfurter Casserole. Yum. And Jello-encased Vegetable Fiesta Thing.

(By the way, this is all by way of lame tribute to this site which is literally one of the funniest things I've ever read in my life. Literally.)
