I've got this great fucking idea.
      Since democracy itself is at stake, and the last election was so clearly stolen, let's not have reporters by the polls investigating whether or not things are being done honestly. Let's just assume that all those exit polls that had Kerry up by wide margins were simply mistaken. Let's suddenly lose the reflective skeptical condescension with which we regard the elections in other countries.
      Let's have Tim Russert and his big idiotic grin pontificate about "deep ideological divisions" in the country and make a big cocksucking map in "democracy plaza" with giant red and blue banners representing electoral votes. Because talking heads and cheap theatrics are so much easier than real research.
      Let's shoot down the least whisper that something might be amiss by laughing about "conspiracy theories."
      Let's all not be bitter and just go shopping.
      Isn't that a great idea?
