Inspiring/depressing George Clinton sighting

A friend of a friend lives in LA. A friend of this LA guy (I know the connection sounds tenuous, but I can vouch for all the links in this chain of hearsay) is in a band that was playing at some house party when, lo and behold, George Clinton walks in the room. The band invites him to join them and he grabs the mic and starts singing and rapping and doing his thing. The LA guy's friend, who's playing drums, is absolutely beside himself to be backing up the legendary George Clinton. After they finish their set, this guy sees George Clinton sitting on the sofa and goes over to tell him what an honor it was to play drums with him, how much he appreciates his music, etc.
George thanks him for his kind words and then whips out a crack pipe and starts roasting a rock right there.
