Morning bus tale
August 18, 2005
Picture this: the #48 bus in the morning, totally quiet, except for this one guy on his cell phone making everyone wince as he loudly goes on and on about, "Yeah, she has really good insight into the organization blah blah blah you know, internationally, blah blah blah. Isn't there someone from Dallas who has some ideas?"
Then this guy across the aisle from me goes, "I'm from Dallas!" And the whole bus cracks up, all the way over the Aurora bridge. Everyone is busting a gut and turning to each other and smiling, sharing the joy as if we have all just found Jesus at the same time.
