I mean this happened, like, 90 seconds ago.
      My daughter comes in the room while I'm sitting on the couch typing on my laptop, and she's totally pissed.
     "I want to tell you something!" she says, then, I swear to God this is true, she blows her fucking nose on my shirt. Straight up.
      Parenthood involves a lot of different things, but this is the kind of thing that tends not to get a lot of publicity. Not coming soon to a Hallmark Channel special near you.
      Then what happened, and this is like 30 seconds ago, she comes back in all teary and apologetic.
      "Do you still love me?" she asks.
      "Of course," I say, "no matter what."
      "Even if I kill you?"
      "If you kill me, my ghost will still love you."
